Hailing from the small town of Trout Lake, Washington and currently based in Leavenworth, Alex King is Better Trail's expert trail running shoe testing guru. A wildly talented runner, Alex holds the FKTs on all five of Washington’s volcanoes and has notched wins at Cirque Series races as well as UTMB events. Beyond racing, he’s the founder of Terignota, a trail running apparel brand built around the mission of making trail running accessible to all. When he’s not testing shoes or chasing vert, Alex can be found working on anything from sewing t-shirts to building skis, beating Jenny (Better Trail's co-founder) at Settlers of Catan, or cooking up a truly delicious plant-based burger.
