Angelique Herring is a digital storyteller based in Norfolk, Virginia, where she works as a photographer, filmmaker, and content creator through her own studio, as well as a communications strategist on the digital team at NASA Langley Research Center. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she has also lived in St. Petersburg, Florida, and built out a camper van to spend more time camping, cooking, and surfing. Her favorite places to be outside include the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains, though a summer in the High Sierras left her with a lasting love for Northern California. As a part-time van dweller, she never leaves home without her Jackery solar generator to keep her camera charged on the road. Angelique was a Winter 2023 Hipcamp Mate and photographer, and this year, she took part in NASA’s eclipse broadcast—an unforgettable way to experience her first solar eclipse.
