Cassie Panther is an accomplished hiker who has tackled bucket-list routes like the Colorado Trail, Uinta Highline Trail, and Alan Dixon’s high route in the Wind River Range. As a science teacher at a small public charter school, she makes the most of her long summer breaks exploring the backcountry. During the school year, Cassie stays closer to home, spending weekends in nearby spots like Escalante National Monument, Bears Ears National Monument, and the San Juan Mountains. She currently lives in Cortez, Colorado.
