Ella Hall grew up in Washington State’s idyllic Methow Valley, where she developed a love for the outdoors from a young age. She went on to receive a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Journalism from the University of Montana, which have spurred her on to work with publications like FasterSkier, Montana Public Radio, and A New Angle Podcast. Ella now splits her time as the Science Communications Specialist for the Northern Rockies Fire Science Network (a fire-science exchange program) and a sustainability researcher at Better Trail. Ella now calls Missoula, Montana home.
